What actually happens in the sand?
The sole is moulded, so every step presses the shape into wet sand behind you. It works best on the firm sand near the water. Dry, loose sand holds nothing — that is the sand, not the plakkie.
Are they comfortable, or just a joke?
EVA footbed, PU lining, non-slip TPU outsole. They are a normal pair of plakkies that happen to leave a mark. Quick dry, so they go from the water to the car.
Which size do I take?
Measure your foot in centimetres and match the last column of the size guide. Do not go by the number in your takkies — SA, EU and UK sizing disagree by up to a full size, and the centimetres do not.

Size guide — UK, EU and centimetres
SA sizing is UK sizing, so pick your normal number. Each pair covers two sizes — the sole is moulded, not cut to the half-size. If you are unsure, measure your foot heel to longest toe while standing and use the last column; it is the only number that never argues.
